Transporting the Visby module
The Modern House team is very happy and grateful for each client’s trust and choice to work with us. This time, our timber-frame module Visby was delivered to Alūksne, Latvia!
Transporting the Frölunda module
For the transportation of the modular home, an open-type cargo platform was used. The placement of the building onto the platform and onto the pre-prepared pier foundations was carried out using a mobile crane.
SKC and eltpams
SKC is used to ensure adequate insulation and to prevent air gaps between wooden joints. Eltpams is used as a waterproofing material, which is glued to the concrete using Butyrub. Paroc XSS01 200mm is used to seal or hermetically close the wall and foundation connections. Additionally, Siga Fentrim adhesive tapes are used on the outside to ensure airtightness, while Siga Rissan is used on the inside.
This combination of materials and techniques helps achieve a high level of insulation and airtightness, ensuring energy efficiency and preventing moisture infiltration in the building.
OSB and Plywood
To enhance the structural resistance to deformation, we use OSB boards beneath the drywall, which also provides the client with flexibility in designing their dream home. This allows them to easily add wall-mounted design elements anywhere in the interior. Additionally, in bathrooms, we use plywood sheets, which provide extra stability and the ability to securely attach shower walls, cabinets, or other items to the walls.
Sauna Åre XL
A ready-made sauna house, which can be easily installed in any garden.
The projects offer various interior and exterior finishing solutions, and changes to the room layouts can also be made upon prior agreement.
